Optizen Version 3 Upgrade

We’ve recently upgraded Optizen to Version 3. 

What’s Included In The Upgrade

We have upgraded the entire framework, in preparation for some exciting new features coming soon. While this upgrade includes no new features right now, the performance and security of the app have been improved significantly.

What New Features Are Coming?

We are currently developing an AI integration feature that is game changing for Shopify SEO at scale. This should be deployed in the next few weeks. That’s all we can say for now.

What You Need To Do To Upgrade

If you haven’t done so already, when you next access the app from your Shopify dashboard, you’ll be asked to re-authorize / approve the app. You’ll then be able to continue using the app on your existing plan uninterrupted.

You will not be charged again for the current month. Rather, you will continue in the current month pro rated after clicking Approve.

Step 1:

Open the app in your Shopify dashboard, and click the app in the sidebar to open (if it does not open automatically).

 

 

Step 2:

If prompted, click approve. This will re-authorize and update to Version 3 of the app.

 

Step 3: 

Navigate to Collections, and click “Sync“. This will ensure all your data is synced for both collections and tags.

That’s it.

While we’ve made every attempt to ensure the transition is smooth, as with any upgrade, there is a chance some users will need support.
